Why is it important to attend the first meeting?

The first meeting is a central and important step in the therapeutic process.

During the treatment, special emphasis is placed on in-depth diagnosis and understanding the root of the problem , and not just temporary pain relief.

Each person comes with a different story, a different background, and a unique body structure – therefore, the first meeting allows us to build personalized and precise treatment .

How does the first meeting take place?

The session lasts approximately 45 minutes for adults or 20-30 minutes for infants and children (up to age 8) and includes:
In particularly complex cases, the session may be slightly longer depending on the therapeutic need.

  • 1. Questioning and diagnosis

    Understanding the background, medical history, lifestyle, and source of the pain.

  • 2. Manual osteopathic examination and treatment

    Gentle and precise treatment, according to the diagnostic findings.

  • 3. Instructions for further action

    If necessary – recommendations, exercises or movement instructions for continued treatment at home.

It is recommended to come with comfortable and flexible clothing.
If you have relevant medical documents , it is recommended that you bring them.

After treatment, you may experience mild sensitivity or fatigue , as a result of the effect on the nervous system – this is a temporary and natural condition.

After the first session, you can better assess the continued treatment required and the appropriate number of sessions.

Osteopathic treatments are often recognized by private insurance companies.
Each patient is required to check eligibility for reimbursement with their insurance company.
